Giving When Times Are Uncertain
We all feel the uncertainty that comes with changing economic times. The cost of everyday necessities can rise, family budgets can become tighter, and we may find ourselves taking a closer look at where and how we spend our money.
When times are uncertain, it is natural to be more cautious about giving. We understand that. We also know that the needs of the children and families we serve do not disappear when the economy becomes uncertain.
In fact, the importance of investing in children remains constant.
At The Craddock Center, every gift helps us continue providing opportunities that enrich children's lives, encourage learning, spark creativity, and help children discover their own potential. Our work is made possible because people believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
We are not asking you to give beyond your means. We are asking you to consider what is meaningful and possible for you.
Perhaps your gift this year will be the same as last year. Perhaps it will be less. Perhaps you are in a position to give more. Whatever your circumstances, your decision to continue investing in children makes a difference.
Generosity isn't about the size of the gift. It's about the difference the gift makes.
A contribution to The Craddock Center may seem like a small act, but collectively, those acts allow us to reach children across our region with programs that can have an impact far beyond a single classroom or a single school year.
During uncertain times, it can be easy to focus on what we need to hold onto. Giving reminds us to also consider what we want to help build.
