This year, 15 Forever youth dove deep into education equity and sexual health, developing real skills in leadership, empowerment, empathy, and more along the way. Through 660 hours of hard work, they raised and awarded $34,883.17 to six local nonprofits supporting youth across Boulder County. This is what youth leadership looks like.

Last night, we celebrated 15 Forever, a milestone that belongs to every young person, mentor, family, and community partner who has shown up for YouthRoots. Together, this year’s board raised $34,883 for youth across Boulder County. This is what investment in youth looks like. Thank you for being part of it.

Thank you One Colorado for letting YouthRoots host a YouthScan project workshop at the One Colorado Q***r Youth Summit over the weekend! 💫

We hosted a session in which youth helped identify the challenges affecting Colorado teens and explore how identity shapes our lived experiences. Through small-group activities, we brainstormed bold, equity-centered solutions to the issues youth care about most. 👏🏼
