What a great day for Katie at the Bat.

On Wednesday, we were once again the guests of our friends at Eileen Fisher in Suburban Square. They planned a special morning for us, with a workshop about empowerment and visualizing our best futures. We're so lucky to have them in our corner! They got us cupcakes (yum!) and sent us home with bags from their beautiful store. Afterwards, we took a walk over to the Farmer's Market, then went back to the office for journal writing. Another great day!

Dear Friends of AAF,
It is time once again for AAF’s 11th Annual Golf Outing! Please join us on May 20th at Scotland Run. More details, registration and sponsorship forms can all be found at our Event page. The outing this year will be bigger and better than ever before to help support the launching of our new Academic -Athletic Advisor position that we will begin funding in a Philadelphia High School in this fall. To Our AAF Teammates:
We are pleased to announce our exciting new initiative – The Athletic Advantage Fund Student Athlete Development Program!
The AAF has launched a grant to fund our proven program of positive student athlete development in a Philadelphia area high school. Included in the grant will be matching funds for an academic-athletic counselor in an underserved urban high school as well as funding and content for leadership development, life skills, college planning and community service programs.
The academic-athletic counselor will provide daily support to 125 male & female student athletes.
A Request for Applications has been distributed city wide and area high schools have been invited to apply for the grant to implement this proven program to improve student athlete attendance, GPA, test scores, graduation percentage, college acceptance and leadership training during the 2013-14 school year.
