Cherry Creek Youth Project Cherry Creek Youth Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit youth organization. Providing a safe and caring environment for the youth of Cherry Creek.

The Cherry Creek Youth Project was first developed by community volunteers, Charity Brings Plenty and Kenric Dupris. On November 3, 2016, the volunteers presented their concerns to the Cheyenne River Tribal Council about the high su***de rate on the reservation and the negative impacts the youth in Cherry Creek go through on a daily basis. The need for a building that will provide these youths a s

afe place to go after school, weekends, and during the summer months. Tribal Council was in full support and in agreement of a youth center in the Cherry Creek community to be established. At the Tribal Council, Hawkwing, Inc. Rochelle Ripley was present at the time of the meeting and willing to help with the project. Since, Charity Brings Plenty, Hawkwing Inc., Rochelle Ripley, and Veteran Service Corps. have been working side by side in the development and renovations of the Cherry Creek Youth Project. Opening of the youth center was October 4th, 2017 and was a success with all the youth in the community and plan to keep growing with each passing day.
