Lou Eibl Corral

Lou Eibl Corral Incorporated in 1949, Lou Eibl Corral has over 60 years of fun in the saddle and service! Multiple generations are a strength of this family oriented club.

In the early days, Rodeo Riders of America evolved into the Lou Eibl Corral to promote western riding and western clothing. Members have been active in the promotion of horses at Allegany State Park including the construction of over 50 miles of trails and development of Camp 10 & the Meadow Horse Trail Head. Over the years, there has been polo teams, pony express runs, Cowboy Olympics (precursor

to “Extreme Cowboy Events”), trips and lots of trail rides. Members love to get together to talk, eat, and plan how to enjoy our friends, families and horses.

This morning while there was a break in the rain, I replaced the broken fence insulator’s on the horse paddock. The paddock was damaged by the heavy snowfall. This paddock needs additional repair before it is horse safe. The posts are not secured in the ground and once they are the fencing can be tightened. Any Member, team or group that could plan on this project, please let me know. It would be great if these were usable for the spring ride. Also, the children’s playground is still without wood chips and is allowing the weeds to grow again. Same deal, if a Member, team or group would like to tackle this it would be great! Thank you

We are sad to hear of the passing of a long-time friend of our club, Gail Bartas. We enjoyed her company at many a Spring and Fall Rides. Our sincere condolences to all of her family and friends. Till we meet again, Gail, Happy Trails.....

We just found out that Elaine Pfohl passed away suddenly today. We are so very sorry for her family and friends for such a loss…Elaine was always at our rides back in the day…Happy Trails, Elaine till we meet again…our sincere condolences to her family.
