"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
We celebrate the life of our sweet friend, Tommy Akins, as he ran pain-free, into the arms of Jesus yesterday.
Over the years, Tommy captured the hearts of our community and inspired us to 'never stop moving' as he purposefully and often painfully ran alongside Bells Ferry Road.
Tommy was a talented artist, teacher, cancer survivor, and proud dad and grandpa. He was a humble servant who reminded us, "We are God's masterpiece," Eph 2:10.
Tommy was a sweet soul and dear friend and we will treasure his memory always! WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!
