Sgi Cherokee Central Schools for inviting EBCI 4-H to participate in the Back To School Bash yesterday! We had a great time talking about our upcoming programs and playing several games with the kids! Sgi to Desirae Abella in our office and Anabel Winitsky with American Rivers for passing along the water web game which demonstrated how the river connects and sustains us all: plant and animal relatives alike. The kids practiced their Cherokee language as they got tangled up in the web of life! We also had several Jr. Jeopardy contestants who answered questions about wildlife to win a prize.

Contact Jessica Huskey at [email protected] or 359-6938 to learn more about 4-H 🍀 and sign your child up for our upcoming 4-H STEM Group to be held during Homework Club at the Qualla Boundary Public Library. We start Sept. 28th (recurring the last Monday of every month) from 3:30-5:00.
