Cheltenham United Methodist Church Our Sunday worship service begins at 10 am. Founded in 1873, Cheltenham United Methodist Church remains a small family oriented church where all Rev.

We worship on Sunday mornings as 10am, following the 9am Sunday School. Sunday School is available for God’s children of all ages! You are invited to become a part of our ever growing family. Feel free to contact the church and/or Pastor Daein if you have any questions at [email protected]. We come together as God’s people to be nourished in worship and study so we can better reach out beyond our walls to bring the hope filled truth of Jesus Christ to those thirsting for some meaning in their lives. We are humbled and blessed to be able to serve God through programs such as the “Homeless Runs” in DC where we bring food, clothing, Bibles and more to those less fortunate; to Christmas in April where we can rehabilitate a home for a family in need; to sending money to other missionaries in parts of the world we are unable to reach and beyond. You can find AA and Al-anon meetings every Tuesday in our building; the SLOGGS (a group of “slightly older citizens”) meets monthly on Wednesday; the choir and band meets every Wednesday. Cheltenham UMC is a member of the Washington East District of the Baltimore Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. Dr. Johnsie Cogman serves as the District Superintendent. Pastor Daein Park is currently serving as the pastor.
