North Creek walkers - Matt is out of town for a conference so we are going to cancel the walk scheduled for tomorrow, 5/6. We will see you next week for a Mario walk!

South Meadows and Beach walkers have their regularly scheduled walk tomorrow, 5/6. Meet at Chelsea District Library by 7:30 am to join the fun!

This Wednesday is another Walk to School Wednesday!! Come join us as we walk Chelsea students to North Creek Elementary School, South Meadows Elementary School, and Beach Middle School. We meet at 7:30 am at Clocktower Commons North Entrance for North Creek walkers, and Chelsea District Library for South Meadows and Beach Middle School students.

North Creek walkers - Matt has a Monster Walk ready to go for our walk this Wednesday! He's added a couple new monsters to the mix. Come join us!

On to week three of Walk to School Wednesdays! North Creek walkers meet at the Clocktower Commons North Entrance, while South Meadows and Beach walkers meet at Chelsea District Library, The CDL walkers leave for school at 7:30, while North Creek walkers leave about 7:35 am. It could be a little rainy so bring your umbrellas!

DEXTER-CHELSEA ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY
WHEN: Friday, October 10, 2025
WHERE: Dexter-Chelsea Rd between Savannah Ln and Freer Rd in the City of Chelsea
WHY: Pulverizing and paving

BACKGROUND: On Friday, October 10, 2025, the City of Chelsea is closing Dexter-Chelsea Rd between Savannah Ln and Freer Rd in the City of Chelsea for pulverizing and paving. The Washtenaw County Road Commission will be administering the project. The existing asphalt will be crushed, shaped, and compacted. This will provide base material for new asphalt paving.

The work is expected to take approximately 2 weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

The road will be closed to all through traffic.
