Be aware. They are in Shelby county also. When you are driving at nIshtar and it looks like it’s snowing, those are the moths that are laying the eggs that produces them.

The wet weather of late has led to an invasion of armyworms in yards in central Alabama.

During the first month and a half of the Polo Crossings pool opening , there have been several incidents at the pool.

The latest two being someone discharging and throwing the fire extinguisher in the pool and someone without access trying to rip the gate open and breaking the Bluetooth lock. We would like to remind you of several things related to causing damage to the facility.

• When an occurrence happens at the pool, it causes it to close for a period of time depending on what has to be done to repair the problem.
• Some of the things that have happened would have been a hazard if children were around.
• The homeowner is responsible for any damage caused by a family member or guest. You will be charged for whatever the cost was to get the pool up and open again.
• Not only would you be responsible for the cost of repair, the member or guest will have charges filed against them for “Destruction of Property” if caught.
• And most importantly, the cost of continuously having to repair the pool and building is paid for by your HOA Dues. That cost, if needed, could be passed through to you the next years fees.

If you see anyone at the pool doing any harm to it, please let us or any of the board members know. Also, please make sure that everyone in your household understands the seriousness of the damage that is being done.

Thank you for your help.

As some of you are aware, a diving mask was broken at the pool today causing some of the glass from it to get in the pool itself.

Most of the glass that was in the pool was vacuumed out this evening and will done again in the morning to try to get whatever might have been missed. It should be operational again by lunch.
