Help support Riverwalk Books and the Lake Chelan Rotary Club Book Buddies Program by Nominating Riverwalk Books for the
James Patterson Bookstore Bonus

Every year the author James Patterson partners with the American Bookseller Association and hands out hundreds of thousands of dollars of what he calls “Christmas bonuses.” The way it works is you fill out a short form and nominate a bookseller or bookstore that you think deserves both the recognition and a little extra money around the holidays.
You can read about holiday bonus program here.
The form can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/262385106292154?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

The form asks for the name of a bookseller Stefani Miller, and the email address of the bookstore: [email protected].
It also asks how long someone has been a bookseller : 7 YEARS
Select Riverwalk Books from the list of Booksellers in WA state.

Individual booksellers can be awarded up to $500, and Patterson will select a small number of bookstores to award with $5,000.
So here’s what I’m asking you, my Dear Subscriber.
If you have the time, and if you genuinely believe Riverwalk Books is deserving of such an award, could you please take a few minutes out of your day to complete this form for us?
The form itself is quite short, asking for a minimal amount of contact information and then a maximum of 250 words about why you think either Stef, myself or Riverwalk Books is deserving of recognition. If you’ve ever come in and expressed how much you appreciate the store or the work we’re doing, simply put those same sentiments into this form and that’ll be more than enough.
And here I’ll note that, should we be lucky enough to be awarded $5,000 by Mr. Patterson, we will donate $1,000 of that money to the so that they can continue in their efforts to support children’s literacy in the community.
Thank you in advance.
