They are the spouses, parents, partners, and friends who provide unwavering support, day in and day out. They are the unsung heroes of the SCI community.

This month, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the caregivers.

Your love, resilience, and dedication are the foundation upon which so much recovery is built.

Thank you for all that you do.

We were proud to be part of "DD Day 2026" - Developmental Disability Awareness Day at the Niagara Falls Convention Center!

Today was an inspiring reminder of the power of advocacy, inclusion and community. Hosted by the Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York, the conference brought together organizations, families and community leaders committed to creating greater opportunities and support for individuals with disabilities.

At Motion Project Foundation, we are passionate about helping individuals live life to the fullest and ensuring everyone has access to the resources, connections and support they need to thrive. We were honored to join so many dedicated advocates working toward a more inclusive future for all.

Thank you to everyone who made today such a meaningful event!

Our latest Wheelz Mafia gathering brought the community together for a special Women’s Health & Craft Night. It was an evening filled with connection, creativity and empowering conversations around wellness and self-care for the women of our mission.

At Motion Project Foundation, Wheelz Mafia is all about creating spaces where individuals can build friendships, find support and uplift one another through shared experiences.

A special thank you to Fromen Injury Law for sponsoring this incredible program and helping us continue to create opportunities that make a real impact. 💜

Today, on Trauma Survivors Day, we stood alongside some of the incredible trauma care heroes at ECMC to honor the strength, resilience and healing journeys of trauma survivors everywhere.

A special thank you to our very own Mary Lynn for helping bring this meaningful message into the hospital and connecting with the extraordinary nurses and trauma care professionals who show up for patients on some of their hardest days.

We also thank Beth A. Moses, RN, BSN, TCRN, AEMT,
Trauma Injury Prevention and Education Coordinator for asking us to be part of this very important day!

At Motion Project Foundation, this mission is deeply personal. Our recovery specialists and community know firsthand that healing doesn’t end when a hospital stay does; it continues one step and one day at a time.

To every survivor: your story matters, your strength is seen and your recovery inspires us all.

What does it mean to have hope in motion?

It’s the feeling of progress, the strength to keep going, and the community that lifts you up.

At our Natalie Barnhard Center, we see it every day. It’s in the focused determination of a client on the Lokomat, the shared laughter in our support groups, and the unwavering dedication of our therapists.

Hope isn’t just a feeling; it’s an action.
