June 14 is the birthday of the U.S. Army and our nation’s flag. Today Eagle Star Housing proudly honors the red, white, and blue, and wishes the U.S. Army a happy 251st birthday! 🇺🇸🎉

Thrilled to be a part of this incredible project! 🏡

We are honored to share that Home Leasing has been awarded the 2025 Excellence in Historic Preservation Award by the Preservation League of New York State for our work on Huntington Apartments in Seneca Falls, NY.

Huntington Apartments represents the transformation of the historic 1870-era National Yeast Co. building, listed as one of the Landmark Society of Western New York’s Five to Revive (2018). Originally a 3-story structure, our team meticulously restored the iconic mansard roof, returning it to its original 4-story form and creating 53 high-quality homes.

What makes this project even more meaningful:

👉Half of the apartments are supportive housing for formerly homeless veterans, who receive onsite services through our incredible partners at Eagle Star Housing.

We are proud to preserve New York’s history while building a more inclusive and supportive future—one home at a time.

Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

On this D-Day anniversary, Eagle Star Housing honors the brave men and women whose service helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today. Their legacy reminds us of the importance of community, perseverance, and service to others. 🇺🇸

We heard it was National Dog Rescue day, so wanted to share one of our resident pups, Noel, who had her headshot taken! 🐶🐾

Our Veterans at our Farmington home often have pets staying with them and there is plenty of running room in the yard! This house is based on a Safe Haven model, and focuses on harm reduction and ‘Housing First.’
