Parents Pushing Past Their Grief Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting parents who have experienced the loss of a child. Our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate space where parents can find encouragement, understanding, and connection—without judgment and without time limits.

Through our programs and community, we offer:

✨ Self-care and encouragement resources
✨ Community support from others who understand
✨ The Mark of an Angel program, assisting families with headstone expenses
✨ Annual remembrance events that honor and celebrate our children

Today, we pause with grateful hearts—not because our journey has been easy, but because God continues to carry us through it. Thanksgiving can be a tender time for parents who have experienced the unimaginable, yet even in our grief, there are moments of grace, love, and strength that remind us we are not walking alone.

To every parent in our community:
We see you. We honor your angel. We hold space for your healing.
Your courage to keep moving, to keep loving, and to keep remembering is a gift to us all.

As we gather today—whether in quiet reflection or surrounded by family—may gratitude gently wrap around your heart. May the memories of your child bring warmth, and may hope remind you that brighter days are possible.

When Morning Found Me Again

In loving memory of my son, Brian ̶ and all our angels.

There was a time the sun forgot my name,
When laughter hid behind the clouds, ashamed.
Each day was just a whisper of what was,
And I breathed through memories because̶
My arms were empty, yet still they ached,
Reaching for dreams that loss had taken.
I walked through echoes, soft and wide,
Where once your footsteps lived beside.
But even in that hollow place,
God met me with His tender grace.
He gathered my tears, He quieted my fear,
And whispered, “Child, your joy is still here.”
Slowly, I learned the art of bloom,
Of finding light inside the gloom.
A smile returned, fragile, small̶
But soon it grew to cover all.
Now I dance with you in rays of dawn,
In songs of sparrows, in fields reborn.
You’re the color in my sky’s new hue̶
The proof that love makes all things new.
I have not lost you; I carry you near,
In laughter, in faith, in each new year.
And though grief carved deep within my soul,
Joy found her way̶ she made me whole.

Our Remembrance Banquet was truly a blessing, and I want to take a moment to thank every single person who joined us. Your presence made this evening one of love, hope, and community.

✨ A special thank you to our Guest Speaker, Juanita Green Adjine, for sharing such powerful tips and wisdom on navigating grief. Your words touched our hearts deeply.

Parents Pushing Past Their Grief, Inc. had the honor of being part of the Health Fair sponsored by Humboldt Parkway Baptist Church and Ingram Micro Butterfly ERG today! 💜 It was such a blessing to connect with families, share resources, and show that healing is possible when we come together.
