Literacy New York Inc. Lit NY is the State (not NYC) Technical Assistance Center that supports adult literacy organizations.

Literacy New York also works with the Western New York and Capital North Regional Adult Education Networks (RAEN's) to provide quality training to adult education teachers.

What if we redefined how we thought about persistence? What if we considered persistence as ➡️ an adult returning to a program?

A groundbreaking 12-year study of more than 350,000 adult learners found that while many adults face challenges that require them to pause their education, many also return return at a later time—and over time—every hour of instruction will continue to compound, increasing literacy and numeracy skills.
