We’re thrilled to recognize our Health Equity Innovation Award winner, Healing Hub of New York.

The funding will focus on advancing the Family Peer Advocate profession, which are parents/caretakers of children with various mental and developmental disabilities. The organization plans to provide support for individuals on their journey to become certified.

Say Yes Buffalo and Healing Hub of New York, in collaboration with the Cheektowaga school, designed the program to increase the ability to provide culturally centered mental health counseling across the region.
