Cheboygan Area Photography Club The purpose of the CAPC is to promote appreciation of photography, develop photographic skills and assist the community.

We meet the third Wednesday of the month at the Cheboygan Library 6:00 - 7:45. What- Purpose of the CAPC is to promote appreciation of photography, develop photographic skills, and assist the community. Regular meetings offer an opportunity to learn more about photography, cameras and gear. Club programs designed to be both informative and enjoyable. Meetings include guest speakers, slide shows, P

ower Points, demonstrations or workshops. Who - Anyone interested in photography may become a CAPC member. Persons under the age of 18 must provide parental approval. Prospective members, guests and visitors are always welcome at regular meetings.

Cheboygan is for the birds, and you can go birding right here in the library-- and then hear the story behind the photos!

One week from today, on Wednesday, May 20th,, at 6:00pm, Tony Johnson will be speaking about his photography and the pictures he has shared with the library. He'll be joined by fellow photographer and birder Steve Baker at the regular monthly meeting of the Cheboygan Photography Club.

Beautiful photos of local birds will complete their spring migration and return to display in the library in time for the talk. Get a library bird list here to take the challenge and see how many birds you can find in the library. Thank you, Tony!

You can also look for all the featured birds out and about in Cheboygan: every photo in this exhibit game was captured nearby. Keep your library bird list as a reference to the birds you can look for outside our doors. Cheboygan is a birding hotspot, and spring migration is in full swing.

"Cheboygan is for the Birds!" will remain on display through the summer. Participation in the game and attendance at the talk is open to all, with no cost or other requirements. Start your birding adventure at the library!
