After a rain out on Saturday FOASP regrouped on Sunday for our annual beach clean-up day. This small but mighty group removed two dump trailers of winter and storm debris from the beach.

This Saturday, May 17th is beach clean up day at Aloha State Park. We start at 10
AM and this year we could really use some extra help. Join us if you have an hour or two to spare. Please bring gloves and a rake! Donuts and coffee on us! In the event of a rain out on Saturday we’ll be there Sunday, May 18th at 10AM.

Thanks to everyone who supported our first raffle to raise funds for the playscape. We sold 495 tickets, and brought in $9,430.00 making it a 50/50 prize of $4,715.00!! Congratulations to the winner, Tom Dickman of Cheboygan.
