Why Costa Rica?

Costa Rica is known around the world for peace, nature, education and hospitality. It has a long-standing identity connected to dialogue, environmental care and peaceful coexistence. For international choirs, Costa Rica offers more than beautiful landscapes. It offers a living context where music, culture and peace can meet naturally. During Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace, choirs experience the country through concerts, community encounters, cultural exchange and moments designed to create connection among singers, directors and audiences.

Congratulations Stephen!

Stephen Wheatley is graduating from Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts and plans to go to the University of Tennessee Knoxville for nursing and work as a firefighter.

When asked how being a part of the CBC has impacted him, he said: "Being a part of the Chattanooga Boys Choir has given opportunity after opportunity, and an amazing brotherhood that I will cherish for the rest of my life!"

Congratulations Grayson!

Grayson McGee is graduating from STEM School Chattanooga and plans to attend the University of Alabama’s McCullough Scholars program as a pre-medical student majoring in Biochemistry.

When asked how being part of the CBC has impacted him, he said: "I’ve learned so much about how to devote yourself to what matters. Being a part of a group much larger than yourself for so long reminds you what it means to think beyond yourself."

Congratulations Trent!

Trent Dunn is graduating from Dade County High School and plans to attend the University of Tennessee Chattanooga to study Vocal Music Education.

When asked what he would tell the community about supporting the CBC, he said: "The arts opportunities inspire creativity, passion, and a sense of home. Some people can only find peace when they are in a place of the arts, because it is a place that accepts everyone. Everyone has a place and is a valued member of the program."
