Our application period is now open April 1st – June 30th, and we’re excited to welcome caregivers across Tennessee to apply for respite support.

Each year, our waitlist resets. All caregivers, including those currently on the waitlist, must submit a new application during this window to be considered for funding.

💛 Join the 1st Priority Cares Foundation Advisory Board! 💛

Do you have a heart for service and a passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors, caregivers, and families in need?
We’re seeking dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our Advisory Board and help guide the growth and impact of our mission.

We’re especially looking for individuals with experience in:
• Fundraising & donor development
• Nonprofit finance or budgeting
• Marketing, communications, or public relations
• Event planning & community engagement
• Healthcare, nursing, or senior services
• Legal, governance, or grant writing

As a member of our Advisory Board, you’ll play a key role in providing insight, building connections, and helping us expand programs such as:
🌼 Sunny Dayz Floral Outreach – delivering joy to local seniors through rescued flowers
💖 Caregiver Support Initiatives – assisting families who fall through coverage gaps
🏡 Financial Assistance for Homecare Services – supporting seniors in need of quality care
🎓 Nursing & Healthcare Scholarships – empowering the next generation of compassionate caregivers

🕒 Availability Requirement:
Advisory Board members must be available to attend both in-person meetings in Chattanooga and virtual Zoom meetings throughout the year.

Today, we pause to honor Shruti Patel, and every beautiful soul who has faced breast cancer with courage, grace, and unwavering strength. Some are still fighting, some have triumphed, and some now rest peacefully in our hearts forever. 🌸

This week, 1st Priority Homecare and 1st Priority Cares Foundation will be giving away flowers in their memory, a simple act of love to remind the world that their stories, their battles, and their legacies still bloom among us. 🌷

To all survivors: you are our inspiration.
To all warriors still fighting: we stand with you.
To all we’ve lost: your light will never fade.

May this month be filled with remembrance, compassion, and hope, because love never dies, it only blossoms in new ways. 💞
