💛 You Don’t Have to Care Alone 💛

The Chattanooga Area Brain Injury Association ( CABIA ), 1st Priority Cares Foundation and 1st Priority Homecare have joined forces to offer a Community Caregiver Support Group for family caregivers and anyone responsible for caring for or coordinating care for a loved one.

Whether you are helping with daily needs, appointments, medications, safety, paperwork, or simply making sure your loved one has the support they need, we would love to be a resource for you.

This group offers a welcoming place to:

• Connect with others who understand the caregiving journey
• Share experiences, challenges, and encouragement
• Learn about helpful community resources
• Receive support for caregiver stress and burnout
• Remember that you do not have to do this alone

No specific diagnosis is required to attend. All family and community caregivers are welcome.

CABIA’s Brain Injury Survivor Support Group will also meet on the same day, providing a separate opportunity for survivors to connect and receive support.

Hi everyone! We are so excited about our upcoming Caregiver Support Group. 💛

Our first meeting is coming up on June 16th, and we would love for you to join us.

If you know anyone who could benefit from being around other family caregivers, receiving encouragement, sharing experiences, and learning helpful resources, please invite them to attend.

Caregiving can feel overwhelming at times, but no one should have to walk that journey alone. This group will be a safe, supportive space for caregivers to connect, be heard, and feel encouraged.

Our application period is now open April 1st – June 30th, and we’re excited to welcome caregivers across Tennessee to apply for respite support.

Each year, our waitlist resets. All caregivers, including those currently on the waitlist, must submit a new application during this window to be considered for funding.
