Tonight’s guest DJ has been on a worldwide tear this past year. His name is Leeon and those that have been coming to Flavorless for some years might remember him from past appearances and already know. For those that don’t, there’s a reason he’s a regular feature at notable clubs like Nowadays (NYC) & Berghain. Whatever the case we should tell you: Leeon, right now, is in peak form.

Back in August the crew caught him at one of N. America’ s greatest festival, Honcho Campout. It was 1AM at the festival’s premiere stage called the Groove. It’s dance floor is nestled in a field between two low slung hills in the Allegany Mountains. Leeon goes on and for the next couple of hours the dance floor heaves and remains entranced the entire time. It was a highlight of the year for us.

And now you get to experience it too and we’re so glad you do. You don’t want to miss any of the artists we book, but Leeon? You especially don’t want to miss him right now.

July’s Flavorless (Sat July 11 at White Duck Taco Chattanooga) guest of honor is one Mull Colin Mulligan • Mull. He’s a sick dj and producer and you’re gonna love his diverse selections. Btw the track on this post is from the record label he’s involved with. Here’s a bit more about him in depth.

Mull is an Atlanta-based multimedia artist that has been dedicated to the city’s underground music scene for over a decade. He’s played a vital role, notably through Volta Lab VLSC Records • Volta Laboratory Social Club, curating numerous shows, album releases, performing live, DJing, and fostering emerging artists.

More recently, he helped create a new quarterly event, iterate, with VLSC Records • Volta Laboratory Social Club to showcase Atlanta based electronic live performers and live visual artists. He is also in the live electronic duo and will be releasing a new EP in September.

Beyond curation, Mull’s expertise extends to lighting design, creating immersive atmospheres. He’s lent his talents to various collectives, crafting visually compelling environments.

We are incredibly honored to present the headliner for the Flavorless Pride Party this Saturday (6/6), the one and only

Michael Cignarale is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and vocalist whose dazzling hybrid performances have made him an icon of the global q***r club landscape. Whether layering live vocals over his DJ sets or performing his original studio productions live on stage, he brings the high energy and drama of 90s New York house and ballroom into the buzzing here and now, connecting with crowds in a way few others can. As a result he has performed at some of the hottest functions the scene has to offer both home and abroad, from Club Toilet (Detroit) to House of Diggs and Basement (NYC), Witch Finger (Chicago), and Pumping Velvet (London).

His tracks like ‘She Thinks She’s Fierce’ and ‘Dance Like We Are Lovers’ have had massive crossover appeal, being played by everyone from Peach to The Blessed Madonna to DJ Seinfeld, and even Jamie Jones. Michael has been remixed by q***r icons BASHKKA, Nita Aviance and Joshua James, and he himself has remixed DJs Pareja and ballroom performer Madame007. His vocal collaboration with GOME, the euphoric ‘You’re My Baby’, was picked up by Spotify’s Club Resistance playlist for “bold and pioneering LGBTQIA+ artists”. Recognised by DJ Mag in 2024 as “something of a house savant”, he has also been covered by RA, Mixmag and the BBC.

If it wasn’t already clear, Michael is a multitalented diva on a mission, and as one admirer in Brooklyn recently noted as he tore the house down yet again: “No one is doing it like Michael Cignarale”.—what Resident Advisor poetically calls “a feast for both sight and sound” with DJ Mag recognized him in January 2024 as one of "Eight Emerging Artists You Need to Hear," affirming his rising influence.
