Empowering individuals and transforming communities through professionally led public art projects, with a focus on the under served. As of July 2019, we have served over 2600 individuals with 300 + hours of classroom curriculum resulting in over 70 public art projects. To accomplish this, we've worked with 35 professional artists facilitators to whom we've paid more than $165,000. Magic Markers i

s a teen compensated work readiness initiative started four years ago and has paid $34,000 to less privileged teens.

We welcomed back the Massey brothers from Portraits of Hope. They were here in 2010 to work with Mark Making in workshops funded by a CreateHere grant. This trip was about AIM Center artists and staff painting content for a HUGE (20,000 participants) piece for the Reflection Pool at the Washington Mall. This group is the only one from TN and the one group representing the mental health community!!!! What a thrill!
