Tullahoma High School has been selected as our July Chapter of the Month for their member participation! We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments as a chapter! 🏆
Tullahoma High School FBLA
At Tullahoma, participation is driven by purpose and connection. Over the years, we’ve had numerous members attend the National Leadership Conference, which is a major selling point for younger students. They see that reaching NLC isn’t just about signing up. It’s about earning the opportunity through dedication and involvement. Our advisors emphasize that they want to bring members they can trust: those who have shown commitment, teamwork, and initiative. That expectation motivates students to step up, take on challenges, and build themselves into reliable leaders. Another key factor is the strong relationship between members and advisors. There’s a balance of fun and focus, where moments of laughter and bonding and constructive feedback and goal-setting can coexist.
We believe simply being visible at FBLA events leads to more opportunities. When members participate actively, they build connections with peers, advisors, and professionals who can open doors to leadership roles, internships, and scholarships.
Our chapter leaders embody a “work hard, play hard” mindset, and that balance is what truly motivates members. When they show dedication to competitions, projects, and service while still making time for fun and friendship, members naturally follow their example. It creates an environment where effort feels rewarding, not exhausting. Our leaders are also deeply involved beyond FBLA: in band, swim, National Honor Society, and other organizations. This makes them relatable and approachable. Members see that leadership isn’t limited to one space. It’s a mindset that carries across everything you do. Because of this, members form stronger bonds with their leaders, viewing them not just as officers but as friends who understand their daily challenges and goals.
