Club dues for the 2026/27 season is $40 for individual or $60 for family. Entry fees for each tournament:
-2 Members and Member+Non-Member $40 per
boat ($5 Big Fish & $5 to CCC)
-Non-members $50 per boat ($5 Big Fish & $15 to CCC)
$5 of each boat entry fee of each tournament goes into a pot to be paid out at the end of the year classic tournament.
2. 5 boats or less winner takes all
6-10 boats 65% 1st, 35% 2nd
11+ boats 55% 1st, 30% 2nd 15% 3rd
3. In the event of a tie, the team with the big fish (weight) will win the tie.
4. You may enter alone or with a partner of his or her choice. 3rd plus person must be 12 years of age or less.
5. A safe and courteous distance should be maintained when trolling or fishing.
6. Fisherman must remain in the boat while fishing. A partner may leave early without penalty.
8. Teams without boats are not allowed to enter.
9. No fishing from shore, docks, piers, marina slips, and no use of secondary props (ladders, etc).
10. Crappie must be hooked and landed with a rod and reel by team members. A landing net may be used to assist.
11. Teams must comply with all fishing and boating regulations.
12. A team can only weigh in 7 crappie. All crappie brought to the scales to weigh in must have been caught during tournament hours. All crappie presented for weigh in must meet state length requirements of 10 inches. Any team presenting an illegal crappie will be penalized one pound per violation. Any obvious attempt at cheating will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament and subject to removal from the club.
13. Alcohol beverages and drugs are not allowed in the boat or to be consumed during
tournament fishing hours. Any contestant who breaks this rule will be disqualified and
removed from the club.
14. There will be no hole sitting by competitor or non-competitor’s boat during the tournament.
15. A liability form must be signed in order to fish in the tournament. Chattanooga Crappie Club Take Off And Weigh in Rules
-All fish must be presented for weigh in, in a water filled bag or container.
-Dead Fish: Dead fish will not be weighed. Dead fish will be removed prior to weighing. Tournament official has the sole responsibility for the declaration of dead or alive.
1. All participants will be required to sign up and pay entry fee at the deignated ramp the morning of the tournament. Club officials reserve the right to do random livewell checks as they deem necessary. A brief meeting will be held at the end of sign ups. After the meeting anglers will be permitted to take off or trailer to a different ramp of their choosing. NO ONE begins fishing until specified time. This is based on the honor system and ANY ONE caught cheating will be disqualified immediately. You can drive to your favorite spot but no one is to begin fishing until specified time, no exceptions.
2. Anglers must be inside no wake bouys by the end of the tournament time. Anglers will be penalized 1 pound per each minute late up to 5 minutes. After 5 minutes anglers will be disqualified. Also if anglers are not in the weigh in line by 15 minutes after the official weigh in time they will be disqualified.
3. Only CCC tournament officials and the team weighing in are allowed in the stand. An EZ checker and rule will be used to verify questionable length. CCC tournament officials will place fish in the weight basket, total weight will be recorded, fish will be returned to the water filled bag or container and given to the team. Note: Sign up/Weigh In Interference- The CCC tournament committee asks that participants/ anglers be mindful of the process for registration/sign up and weigh in. This process is not always easy. All anglers are asked to be courteous and respectful at all times. Anglers who do not adhere to this request will be subject to disqualification and subsequent tournament suspension. The CCC angler of the year is awarded to the member with the most points accumulated at the end of the last tournament. There will be 9 tournaments (weather permitting). The point system:
50 Pts per person 1st Place
49 Pts per person 2nd Place
48 Pts per person 3rd Place
….Etc.
1 extra point per person per boat will be rewarded for big fish in each tournament
Members must drop 1 lowest tournament points per year. The Crappie Classic
-Only club members can fish The Classic Tournament.
-Members must participate in at least 3 tournaments per year and be a paid member on or before the December tournament.
-Paid members of the East Tennessee Crappie Club will be allowed to fish the Classic tournament but must also fish 3 CCC tournaments to qualify.
