The Nonreligion in a Complex Future project is looking for individuals to complete a survey about death and end of life care. If you have lost someone close to you in the last year, we invite you to take part in this brief survey.

The project explores how people experience and imagine and a 'good death,' and seeks the perspectives of those who have recently accompanied someone through the dying process. This survey will ask questions about what types of services the deceased may have accessed, and if/how these provided support.

The survey is completely anonymous. No identifying information will be recorded. The estimated completion time is less than 20 minutes.

100 years ago today, the fight to teach evolution (instead of creationism) in public schools was unfolding at the Rhea County Courthouse in Tennessee.

The Scopes Trial sparked national attention after public school teacher John T. Scopes faced charges for violating Tennessee's Butler Act, which prohibited teaching human evolution in the state's schools.

To this day, the Scopes Trial remains significant for publicizing the human evolution debate on a larger scale than ever before.
