Current news reports are indicating many more people died in Puerto Rico than originally thought—this is certainly tragic news. There aren’t reports about the many people who are still under a tarp or in damaged homes. Face to Face Missions is bringing a team in late July to help. We’re launching a hydroponics greenhouse project and helping rebuild damaged homes.

Face to Face Missions is taking a team to help those in Puerto Rico still recovering from Hurricane Maria. We’re going July 21-29 to rebuild houses and launch a sustainable solar-powered hydroponics greenhouse. When complete, the greenhouse will supply fresh fruit and vegetables for a food bank administered by a church we are partnering with in Mayaguez. It’s late notice but you can still join us or send a tax-deductible donation to help make the greenhouse a reality!

Great things are happening at Hope House home for girls in Lima, Peru and Face to Face Missions is going to be a part of it! Hope House is undergoing a fantastic renovation but they need funding for two wardrobes at $400 each. Will you consider giving toward this project? Face to Face Missions is STILL feeding children in Peru on a weekly basis. THANK YOU for your past support! Because of that support, I've been able to keep funding milk and fruit for these children. Face to Face also supports Hope House, the home for girls in the Lima area.
I want to keep both of these projects moving forward but, honestly, I'll need continued funding to do this. EVERY PENNY of your support goes to these projects--there's no overhead. I've been "busy with life" and haven't reached out for support but I'm trying to change that with this post. I think Jan Daigle would give a hearty "amen" to this post. She loved Jamie and I did too.

Update on raising funds for the mobile medical unit she desired--not good! I'm reaching out but not getting the kind of success needed to make it a reality. For those who have given, THANK YOU so much for the practical way you have honored her life and wishes. There's no deadline so it can still happen. It's in God's hands, not a bad place to be.
