Steps2Hope Steps2Hope is a non-profit agency committed to helping young adults who are dealing with the loss of mobility from traumatic events. This is Steps2Hope's goal.

Steps2Hope is a non-profit agency that is committed to serving young people who have lost mobility from a traumatic event. It was started as a result of a period of pain and suffering the Wilson family endured when their son was injured in a tornado in February of 2008. The tornado left David Wilson, 19 at the time, buried under rubble and debri for five hours. Initially, physicians thought David

would lose his legs. In the weeks that followed, David went through multiple surgeries as his doctors tried to spare his legs. Fortunately for him, the surgeries worked. After weeks in different hospitals across Tennessee, and months of rehab, David has regained much of his strength and mobility. Throughout this traumatic experience, the Wilson family was showered with love and support from family, friends, and people they did not even know. We want to show young people who have lost mobility that there is hope by partnering with them as they endure the rehab process. For more information, visit www.steps2hope.com

ATTENTION
********We need volunteers to help a local Hero*******
Many of you may remember the story of Major Tommy Bradford of the Dade county Sheriff's dept.
Major Bradford responded to a call involving a high speed chase that began in Fort Payne Al.
Major Bradford was on the side of the road in the process of laying down spike strips when the suspect struck him with her car. Condition critical He was Airlifted to Erlanger where he ended up losing his left leg.
Of course there were many needs to be addressed in the days/months to follow and Steps2hope was blessed to play a small part in that process. Pooling recources and local talent we helped plan and facilitate the retrofitting and renovation of our Local Hero's home to better meet his needs post injury, and by anyone's standards it's been a "Major" success.

THERE'S ONLY ONE THING LEFT TO DO........

Before his injury Major Bradford had begun installing vinyl siding on the outside of his house but he was only able to complete a small area before circumstances beyond his control stepped in.
WE ARE GOING TO FINISH IT FOR HIM!

This is where you come in!
On Sept 30th we need volunteers to hang siding and complete trim work. Anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated and you couldn't ask for a better cause.
PLEASE SEND A MESG OR COMMENT BELOW IF YOU CAN HELP. God bless and Thank you.

When you donate money or time to an organization, it's important to know their values. We wanted to take a moment to share ours with you!

If our values mirror yours, we'd love to have your support!

Values
Our core values are:

1. The preeminence of Christ

Colossians 1:15: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

2. Integrity and transparency in our decisions and conduct

James 5:12:But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

3. Demonstrating love, compassion, and humility in our actions

1 Peter 3:8:Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous
