It’s 💧WaterWays WEEK TWO of our summer water quality testing initiative. We will be monitoring the health of popular local creeks and swimming holes. The “Summer Swim Report” will provide weekly water monitoring for the following areas:

Greenway Farm
Big Soddy Creek Gulf
Audubon Acres
Rainbow Lake
Middle Creek
Suck Creek

WaterWays’ staff and volunteers will collect and test water samples weekly through Labor Day to check Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria levels to help the community make informed decisions for safe swimming for families and pets.

THIS WEEK: 🔴⚠️Due to all the rain recently we are seeing higher E. coli concentrations across the board excluding Big Soddy. Always take precautions when swimming in freshwater. Swim at your own risk!

Another big BONNAROO ✌️🌈 gear salvage in the books! Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers that make this possible.

We picked up a nearly four tons of great gear including, tents, pop-ups, coolers, camp chairs, and pool noodles a plenty!

Love Plants?🌿 Love Nashville? 🤠 Join the Nashville Native Plant Symposium for a full day of learning, connection, and inspiration around rewilding our urban and suburban landscapes! This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Dwayne Estes, PhD, along with presentations, speaker biographies, and field trip opportunities focused on native plants, native ecosystems, and practical ways to support healthier communities.
