Many thanks to the Tyner Key Club and Kiwanis Club members who helped place Christmas wreaths on the graves of the fallen at the Chattanooga National Cemetery today. This is always a solemn but beautiful endeavor that honors those who have given their lives for our freedom.

The Children's Advocacy Center in Chattanooga now has 32 new Squishmallows for Brock's Wall to share with children in their care. The Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga was happy to make this donation along with a check for $2,000 for much needed supplies and to put a smile on a child's face.

What fun we had last night at the Tyner Trunk or Treat Halloween drive thru! Hundreds of cars loaded with costumed children visited multiple decorated 'Trunks' to gather candy treats. The Tyner High School marching band provided lively music and dancing to top off a very successful event.

The Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga is gathering Squashmallows to donate to the Children's Advocacy Center next week. We hope these soft, squishy, little cuddly animals will provide comfort, hope, and healing to children who have been subjected to trauma in our community.

We were back in the kitchen yesterday, cooking up breakfast for the amazing families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga!

This is something we love doing on a regular basis, and this time we were joined by our Lt. Governor, Roger Qualey, which made it even more special.

Big thanks to all the volunteers who showed up early to be a part of the fun and service - and yes, we found our recipe on TikTok again. 😄

We may have missed a couple of updates, but our Kiwanis meetings have been going strong!

Today, we heard from Rachel Carroll with the Northside Neighborhood House. It was wonderful hearing about their work to support children and families in our community.

A big thank you to Sgt. Robin Davenport from the Chattanooga Police Department for joining us at this week’s meeting!

Sgt. Davenport supervises the department’s youth programs and shared how CPD is working to build trust, mentor young people, and create safer communities through proactive engagement. It was clear that these programs are making a real difference in the lives of our local youth.
