There’s an effortless grandeur to this chapel, where rustic craftsmanship meets contemporary restraint. A soaring timber-clad vaulted ceiling, dramatic dark beams, and sculptural ring chandeliers create a profound sense of scale and reverence. Pale stone walls soften the richness of the wood, while expansive glazing draws the eye toward the landscape beyond.

Above all, it is a sacred space created with one purpose in mind: for His Presence to feel at home.

“And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.”
— Exodus 25:8 (KJV)

Listen to that beautiful rain! Above all, we give God ALL the praise and thanks for sending this much-needed rain over the fresh sod on the Mount of Prayer! ❤️

And a big thank you to Jamey Scott for making sure we have great video surveillance to capture moments like this—and any and ALL movement on the mountain! 👀😉 If you catch my hint!!

“The Chapel” at the Mount of Prayer is being prepared for whatever the Lord purposes! Every detail and every work of excellence has been done with this in mind—and the work continues…❤️

Our first soft opening at the chapel!

We wanted to ask the Lord to release His angels to surround and protect the chapel, but first, we wanted to be grounded in solid biblical teaching concerning angels. Pastor Terry Harris brought an incredible teaching to establish that foundation! ❤️

“Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word!”
— Psalm 103:20 ESV

We also remembered and honored the Jewish Fall Holy Days.

So grateful for people of prayer willing to gather—even before the deep cleaning is done and the doors have hardware! ❤️

As we continue to get the chapel ready for prayer, with a few special touches for the holidays, we’re grateful for every phase of the journey. Each step forward brings excitement, and we’re especially thankful for the incredible people who help bring it all together!

Through it all, we’re reminded of the greater
calling—to be faithful with what has been entrusted
to us. ❤️⛰️

“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV)
