Greene Skirts was started as an idea from an environmentalist, freight broker who wants to make a green impact on the transportation industry. With her concept, every tractor/trailer can save a minimum of 640 gallons of gasoline per year at no cost to the driver/carrier. This is done through their Adopt-a-Truck program. Companies can choose to adopt a truck by adding skirts only to save 640 gallon
s of fuel or a set of skirts with a tail added for a savings of 1000 gallons of fuel per year. As a thank you to the companies that choose to adopt a truck, we place their messaging on the skirts at eye-level to passenger cars and at no cost. We do the same if tails are included in the program. Truck skirts are the long, composite added walls at the wheel wells of the trailers of vans. They help deflect the impact of the drag while also making the trailer more stable and minimizing spray onto nearby vehicles. Trailer tails are the fins that come off of the back of the trailer increasing the truck's aerodynamics along with the skirts. Greene Skirts is also an environmental company with a conscience and also a charitable company. With each 15 sets of truck skirts ordered, Greene Skirts will donate a set of printed skirts of a national charity of their choice to showcase for free on the road for one year.
