Big thanks to Evans Lumber! 🪵🙌

A fresh load of lumber just landed at Raccoon Mountain, and it's headed straight onto the trail. Evans Lumber supported our trail maintenance work by delivering it free of charge and giving us a nonprofit rate on the materials. That kind of partnership stretches every dollar further and keeps our trails & bridges in great shape.

Now we need your hands to put it to work. 💪

Join us and TVA for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 26th to give back to the trails at Raccoon Mountain. Whether you've swung a McLeod a hundred times or never picked up a trail tool, there's a job for you. We'll provide the tools, the know-how, and the good company. You bring gloves, water, and some energy.

Coffee, climbs, and community ☕🚵

We had a blast riding bikes with our community at the SORBA x Velo Coffee Collab Ride to Cravens House this Sunday! Big thanks to everyone who joined us!

Shoutout to Velo Coffee Roasters for hosting and the free coffee before the ride, and to Litespeed Titanium Bikes for bringing out the new Pisgah for everyone to drool over 👀🔥

Huge thanks to everyone who came out for the United Way Day of Caring trail work party at Booker T. Washington State Park! 🚵‍♀️🛠️

39 volunteers from Unum, Tennessee Valley Authority, and First Horizon Bank joined us to clear back overgrowth on just over a mile of trail — incredible work in one day.

Grateful for our partnership with Niedlov's Bakery & Cafe for the coffee and pastries to start the day with Booker T. Washington State Park, whose staff treated all our volunteers to a low country boil after the work was done. That kind of hospitality makes these days special.

A special shoutout to Mac, our longtime volunteer at Booker T, for identifying the service projects and leading the volunteers throughout the day. We couldn't do this without you!

Thank you United Way of Greater Chattanooga for organizing Day of Caring and connecting us with such great partners.

⚒ FIVE POINTS TRAIL MAINTENANCE — BEFORE & AFTER 👀

Erosion and drainage have been beating up the trails around the Ascalon Trailhead at Five Points Recreation Area, but our ongoing maintenance push is turning that around. Swipe through to see the transformation: reshaped tread, cleared roots and rock, and new drainage features designed to actually hold up over time.

This work was done by , and it's part of the bigger effort to get this trail system back to the standard our community deserves.

We also had a great meeting with the park superintendent and some volunteers from the Friends of group yesterday to walk through what's been done and what's still ahead. We're grateful to have the trust of our land manage to do this work.

🚵‍♀️ Last night we hit the Moonshine trails with Lula Lake Land Trust for another fun course preview ride leading up to the Five Points 50/25 Race! 17 rad riders joined us for the challenging ride packed with waterfall views and post ride beverages.
