Australian researchers have uncovered how having children and breastfeeding reduces the long-term risk of an aggressive form of breast cancer more commonly seen in younger women.

Thank you Cecelia for dedicating your time in the grant application for our local LLL of Chattanooga to Shaw Industries! The $100 you raised purchased supplies to assemble new mother breastfeeding bags to local area parents.

GOODBYE AMANDA!

We wish to announce that one of our long time leaders, Amanda, is retiring from leadership this month. She has spent 10 years giving her time and experience to Chattanooga and has made a huge difference in the lives of breastfeeding parents. We will miss you and wish you well in your new endeavor teaching the children of Hamilton County in this next season of life!

Calling all pediatricians!

If you're a local doctor in our region with breastfeeding experience and/or staff we need to hear from you! Message our admins for a written Q&A to help the families in our area get to know you and the services you provide. We will be showcasing 1-2 local resources a month to help new parents and expecting mother's learn about the options local to the Chattanooga region.
