I’ve discovered that I’m more than a conqueror in Christ, which also tells me ungodly and unseen forces are trying to conquer me.
Keep this truth in mind: the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Every demon has the same mission. How they go about it—their strategies and tactics—are different. A spirit of fear attacks your faith, for example, while a spirit of rejection attacks your identity. Satan is strategic. His army is highly organized, and he is sending specific spirits against believers to derail them from their kingdom purpose.
My prayer is that you will gain discernment to identify spirits opposing your life—and the lives of those you love—and develop spiritual skills to battle back. Spiritual bo***ge can manifest in many ways, but the good news is that victory can be ours. By walking in our God-given authority, we can effectively do battle and win in warfare.

Christ suffered as he stood against sin. And because believers are united to Jesus, we suffer too. Even so, whenever we suffer, we have the consolation that God is present with us, and that he sovereignly rules over our situation. In every circumstance — even martyrdom — we’re obtaining victory over evil and death through the power of Christ.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

So many of us get so worried and concerned about what is going on in our lives that we don’t take time to rest.
In this Bible reading, Jesus showed us what we are to do when we are going through a storm, and that is rest. God does not want us to respond to situations with fear and worry. He wants us to cast our cares and burdens on Him.
We rest in God by trusting Him instead of trying harder. We rest by standing firm in faith and resisting doubts and distractions

Wanted to post a bit of reassurance today as I know all if us can feel the discord that is taking place. Just rest in Gods peace and know it will all be okay💯

Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret— it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord , They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more.

Verse for the week Jeremiah 1:4-19

Hey there Followers of Christ!! I know it has been a long time since anything was posted to this page, but it's time. The days are getting close "Those who have ears let them hear." We all need each other more than ever right now to make it though this training course. As followers of Christ we know the most important thing is to put Christ first. We all need to wear the armour of God and pray always. What we as a family have decided to do is every week one person can choose a chapter, verse, or book of the Bible to read. After that is posted each person can post what they got from it or how God spoke to them at that time. Each time before reading it is important to pray so you are able to understand what the word is saying. This should be fun and I hope we all get to meet our brothers & sisters in Christ.

“Guiding to Transform”

This must have seemed like an odd criticism to the Pharisees. Their whole religious tradition was built around the Law. These rules touched every area of their lives. Any regulations added to them were only intended to help protect Israelites from never breaking the Law.

But the sad truth is that you can follow all the rules and never be transformed. It’s a dangerous position to be in because rule-following looks so much like holiness. Once someone equates godliness with following the Law, it’s hard to convince them that they’re far from God.

When it comes to religious instruction, it’s easy to fall into the rule trap—especially when we’re instructing youth. We need to be careful that we don’t use Bible stories and biblical passages to reinforce a rules-oriented view of Christianity.

We want to help others see behavior and practice through a benefit-oriented lens (1 Cor. 10:23). Do the choices we make draw us closer to Jesus or move us further away? Spiritual maturity is about learning to judge the constructiveness of our decisions and not assume we’re spiritual because we follow a laundry-list of rules.

He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men —the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

I know I have not posted in awhile but what better to come back with than a post about the flesh being weak. We all deal with stress and temptations, the things that pull us away from God. I struggle daily with sin bearing down on me but I keep my eyes on Jesus and with His presence I make it through.

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
