Every Thanksgiving we think about the CSC dinners that felt more like home than anywhere else. The kind of meals where the food was great, but the company was better. Grateful for the cooks, the conversations, and the table that always seemed to stretch just enough to fit one more person.

In 1975, Chancellor James Drinnon sent this letter to Mrs. Daisy Malone, the housemother of the Christian Student Center.

He wrote, “I have heard so many fine comments about your work with and love of our young people.”

Daisy had faced challenges that year, but her grace and strength left an impression on everyone she met. Nearly fifty years later, her kindness still echoes through the walls at 609 Houston.

Every class leaves its mark.Some with new paint, some with memories, all with love for this house.
