With SNAP funding issues and the demand on food pantries right now, we want to remind you that both our Downtown and Avondale libraries offer after school meals for kids and teens throughout the week. Thank you to YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga and The Chattanooga Public Library Foundation for making these meals possible!

It cost $0.00 to be kind to someone. We need more kindness in this world. Let’s bring back the days where the community does for the community . Our family would like to share our blessings and donate $100 in groceries to a family each month for the rest of 2025. To be considered please submit your name and contact information and a number between 1-100 in our inbox (The Mecca Initiative). Drawings will be every 10th of the month. The first drawing is September 10th. There won’t be any pictures, post,and the winner or participants will not be made public.
