Her Song Chattanooga

Her Song Chattanooga Founded in 2013, Her Song interrupts the cycle of human trafficking and leads women to freedom.

Our mission is to engage survivors of s*x trafficking in building a new life by providing safe relationships, a healthy community of support, mental health care, life skills, and preparing them for work, education and to achieve new goals. We come alongside these strong, courageous women as they find the confidence and the courage to heal and begin a new life. If you wish to become a partner in our work through sponsorship, send an email to [email protected].

What makes Chattanooga vulnerable to human trafficking?

Human trafficking affects communities across Tennessee and several factors make our region especially at risk:

🚨 Trafficking Reports
Tennessee ranks 20th in the nation for reported human trafficking cases.

šŸ’Š Drug Crisis
In 2023, Tennessee recorded 3,985 overdose deaths. Substance use continues to be one of the leading vulnerabilities connected to trafficking.

šŸš— Highway Access
Major interstates—including I-24, I-75, I-40, and I-65—intersect in and around Chattanooga, creating high-risk transit corridors for trafficking activity.

šŸŒ Undocumented Immigrant Population
Roughly 6.1% of Tennessee’s population is made up of immigrants, many of whom face increased risk of exploitation due to legal and language barriers.

At Her Song, we’re raising awareness and walking alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives with safety, stability, and hope.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in a place where she feels safe, supported, and seen.

Her Song’s Residential Care program goes beyond safe housing—offering counseling, life skills classes, education, job training, and mentorship to help women heal and thrive.

Your support helps create a space where restoration begins and freedom flourishes.

After she breaks free of exploitation, the path ahead can feel overwhelming.
Where does she go? Who can she trust? How does she begin to rebuild?

Care Coordination goes beyond resources—it’s about walking with survivors as they take the next safe step toward healing and hope.

Care Coordination can look like answering a Hope Line call, helping her get a bus ticket, packing a suitcase of essentials to give her, or connecting her with the people and services she needs to rebuild her life.

Your gift helps us respond to more calls, provide more resources, and guide more women toward hope. Give today or join The Nest to support survivors monthly.

Fear. Shame. Isolation. Incarceration.

These are just a few of the barriers that keep survivors of human trafficking trapped in silence.

Her Song’s Outreach program exists to go beyond those barriers.

Whether a woman is on the streets, hidden in plain sight, or even incarcerated, we meet her where she is — offering resources, compassion, and hope.

We also equip and educate local service providers, law enforcement, educators, and community members to recognize the signs of trafficking and respond early.

Because when a survivor feels seen, believed, and supported — everything can begin to change.

Your gift helps us reach more women still waiting for hope.

When a survivor breaks free of human trafficking, it’s often seen as the end of the story.
But in truth—it’s only the beginning.

At Her Song, we walk with survivors beyond their initial exit from exploitation, helping them reclaim their lives, pursue healing, and rediscover purpose and hope. From outreach to long-term residential survivor care, we meet each woman where she is—with dignity and compassion.

We believe in life beyond freedom—a life where she is safe, stable, and supported as she rebuilds her future. Because true healing doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a journey.

This Giving Tuesday, you can help survivors take the next step in their journey toward a flourishing future.

Make a one-time gift today, or make your gift go further by joining our monthly giving community The Nest. šŸ•Šļø
