Mitch Savini joined the US Navy Reserves in February of 2005 and is currently assigned to NWAC ONI (Nimitz Warfare Analysis Center Office of Naval Intelligence). He served two tours overseas, in both Europe and Iraq as an intelligence analyst. He also worked as a Defense contractor alongside serving in the Navy for 12 years which took him to places like, Qatar and NW Africa while working for various commands/units like SOCOM, AFSOC, and 513th MIB (Military Intelligence Brigade). He expects to retire in May of 2026. Over the last 12yrs, Mitch was able to save money from contracting to open a franchise with Uptown Cheapskate that is located in Hixson, TN. When he's not running his store, he is spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies of biking, thrifting/estate sales collecting vintage concert shirts and 80s memorabilia.

Very Thankful!

It was awesome getting to share the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center space with so many other vets last year.
Hearing stories, exchanging numbers, seeing old friends, and making new!

Thats what we are here for, and that's what we are striving for. We aren't here to throw a party to just all come together to get trashed, we are trying to make this something more!

We are here to connect vets with other vets.
To build the community, and help each other through tough times when they come about.

Less than 30 days away!
Like last year, will be hosting another .
We were honored to be able to have it at Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center in 2022.

We had a lot of folks who said they wish they would have had dancing or some type of DJ there though, and with that space we just weren't able to make that happen.

This year is a different though and we will have a DJ!
We will still have food for everyone, including birthday cake.
The Tap House will be proving beer, and we will also have cocktails served!
A specialized challenge coin as well to go with your ticket!

It'll be at The Waterhouse Pavilion this year, which is part of Miller Plaza in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga!

At Clime and Place our mission is to build a veteran community focused on fostering camaraderie to combat mental health challenges, promote su***de awareness, and enable successful transition into civilian life through network building and resource sharing.

Over the past few years, as close group of Marine Veterans, we have celebrated the Marine Corps Birthday here in Chattanooga, TN. Each year this event grew organically larger and larger. While we have been keeping the core values and traditions in place, we discovered the opportunity that we had created to build more awareness of what truly matters to this type of community.
That is mental health and transitional resources.
Thus, we decided to take a deliberate approach to planning these events and bringing likeminded people together.

In the spirit of promoting awareness for our cause, we will be conducting a hike around downtown in order to promote organizational awareness and also foster camaraderie among participants.

Scheme of Maneuver:

21 October
0900 - Muster 1700 Central Ave, Chattanooga, TN, 37408 (DO NOT BY ANY MEANS PARK AT ODDSTORY IN THE MORNING, PARK ACROSS THE STREET)
1000 - Step off
1000 - 1300 - Movement, various stops at supporting venues
1300 - Lunch in Coolidge Park provided by Mission BBQ Chattanooga
1400 - 1700 - Movement, various stops at supporting venues
1700 - Concert for a Cause at Oddstory Brewing Company
