Northwest Missouri State University’s incoming Psi Chi officers attended the 72nd Annual Nebraska Symposium on Motivation, which centered on the intersection of interoception, conditioning, and motivation on addiction, health, and wellbeing. Accompanying them were returning and graduating officers—as well as one of the chapter advisors, Dr. McCain. Students were given the opportunity to engage in meaningful teambuilding, observe keynote speakers, and network with other students and professionals within the field of psychology. Psi Chi officers acquired funding for this trip through Northwest’s Student Senate, receiving $500 in total to fund travel and conference fees.
