Just when we thought our first Farm Fresh Food Club season was wrapping up, the garden said otherwise!

We're opening 10 shares for a special 4-week fall edition of our Farm Fresh Food Club!

Same Thursday farm hangs. Same Bite of the Week. A whole new lineup of cool-weather goodness.

WHAT'S GROWING? 🥬

Think microgreens, pak choi, lettuce mix, arugula, kale, collards, cabbage, radishes, Hakurei turnips, green onions, winter squash, and some other processed goodies for a quick meal.

Our first Farm Fresh Food Club meet-up is in the books!

We walked the gardens, grabbed some drinks, and got to know each other — lots of smiles “and hey, I know you!” and “nice to meet you!” moments along the way.

Turns out we’ve got some pretty talented folks in the group! Alan makes pear preserves, Rachel teaches yoga and works with neurodiverse kids, and we’re sure there’s plenty more we haven’t uncovered yet. We’d love to bring some of those talents into future meet-ups. Maybe some trading and bartering of homemade goods along the way, too.

To show our gratitude, we gifted each member an organic fabric tote to fill with up with our organic goodies. This week’s haul included beans, figs, eggplant, arugula, two kinds of basil, cucumbers, three varieties of peppers, okra, tomatoes, bags of sweet corn, and candy onions. We share a bite from the "recipe of the week" to help inspire folks to try something new. Some folks even put together their own little flower bouquets to take home!

Great turnout, great people, great start. A great reminder on those hot, sweaty days of why we do this — and what it’s helping us build in our community. One step closer to opening up programming and apprenticeships for our youth and young adults with intellectual learning disabilities.

Come check out one of the coolest events of the year in Chatt Hills! We'll be a part of the deliciousness and celebrations

Most farm dinners bring the farm to the table.**This one brings the table to the farms.**

On October 10, guests will receive a rare invitation to experience four working farms across Chattahoochee Hills in a single evening.

Travel by chartered bus from Serenbe Farms to Deer Creek Farm, Smyly Farms, and The Good Place Farm. At each stop, you’ll step onto the land, meet the people caring for it, enjoy seasonal tastings created by Chatt Hills resident Chef Justin Robinson and hear live music as the landscape changes around you.

Four host farms. Nine local farms. Four live music sets. One long table beneath the evening sky.

This is more than an extraordinary dinner. It is a chance to experience the farms that define Chattahoochee Hills and invest in their future. Proceeds support the Chattahoochee Hill Country Conservancy’s work to protect farmland, keep working farms viable, strengthen our local food system, and preserve the rural character of this community.

Congratulations to our very first Empathy Farm cohort for completing our 20-week pilot program! 💙

On the Summer Solstice, we gathered with family and friends to celebrate all they accomplished. We made sourdough pizzas, carrot cake, and veggie snacks using ingredients from the garden before heading out to the grow site for a graduation ceremony to recognize the farmers individually and as a community, ending with a summer solstice blessing. And wow what a gift by the sun as it set over our garden ✨ We missed Farmer Cannon, who was away on vacation, but he was certainly there in spirit.

Each graduate received an official Empathy Farmer hat. 🧢

Now it’s time for Farmer Tristan and Farmer Nicolle to reflect, refine, and continue building our new farm as we prepare to launch our Farm Fresh Food Club and welcome our next crew/communuty this fall.

To our crew: You belong. You matter. And you will always have a place in this community and at The Empathy Farm. Congratulations, crew!!

This fall, The Empathy Farm will launch more farm-based educational programming for people of all abilities - creating opportunities to develop skills, grow delicious food and have some fun building community.

But first, we need to build the infrastructure to support our future programs!

Well friends... after months of rocking it out at our current program site with our crew, we're officially launching The Empathy Farm's very first Farm Fresh Food Club over at our new spot on Hutchesons Ferry (across from Serenbe Inn).

Think of it as our version of a CSA (community supported agriculture), but with a little more personality! And the first 3 people to message/email us will receive $25 off ($275!! -- basically a week of free food).

For 8 weeks this fall, you'll get responsibly grown vegetables, cut flowers, recipes, tastings, surprise goodies, and an excuse to come hang out with friends and farmers -- maybe even share a beverage or two.

But here's the fun part... you're not just signing up for vegetables - you're helping us build our new gardens for programming!

Every membership helps us create the growing space, infrastructure, and gathering areas we'll use for workshops, educational experiences, community events, and programming for people of all abilities.

Basically, you're helping turn a field and a dream into something real that our community can benefit from.
