⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE ⚠️

Holly Creek Cool Spring Rd will be closed between Bunker Hill Rd and Hensley Rd beginning September 21, 2026, through November 15, 2026.

The closure is necessary for the replacement of the concrete box culvert. No driveways will be affected by the closure.

This project was originally scheduled for last year but was postponed.

Please plan ahead and use an alternate route while the closure is in place. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while this important work is completed.

🍀 Calling All 7th-12th Grade 4-H'ers! 🍀

Looking for a way to get more involved in 4-H, develop your leadership skills, make new friends, and give back to your community? Join the 2026-2027 Murray County 4-H County Council!

County Council is open to all youth in 7th-12th grades, including homeschool students. Meetings are held once a month from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Murray County Extension/4-H Office and include:

✅ Community service projects
✅ Leadership opportunities
✅ Team-building activities
✅ Fellowship with other Murray County 4-H members
✅ Dinner at each meeting

📅 Upcoming Meeting Dates
• September 15
• October 13
• November 9
• December 8
• January 25
• March 8
• April 12

Please RSVP before each meeting so we can prepare enough food and supplies.

The North Georgia Agriculture Fair books are now available at the Murray County 4-H Office.

📅 All Agriculture Fair entries are due to our office by October 19.

🖼️ Working on a portfolio? Be sure to make a poster based on your presentation and enter it in the fair. It's a great way to showcase your hard work!

Are you interested in learning how to be a smarter shopper and making wise purchasing decisions? Join the Cotton Boll & Consumer Judging Team and develop valuable life skills while having fun with other 4-H members!

✅ Open to 4th-12th grade 4-H members
✅ No cost to participate
✅ Practices held from 3:30-5:00 PM at the Murray County 4-H Office. First practice is September 9.
✅ Contest Date: November 16
