A Work in Progress Women's Recovery Community A Work In Progress fosters growth and recovery to female residents by providing sober, safe and comfortable housing for women in recovery.

Located in the heart of Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, A Work In Progress’ Chatsworth sober living home is an oasis for women in recovery from substance addictions and co-occurring disorders. More than a sober living home, A Work In Progress is a strong community of women who have come together to support each other in our recovery efforts. We are fully aware of the battles each one of

us has to endure to rebuild our lives and we do not expect you to fight them on your own. Our female-only sober living home operates out of a five bedroom, four bathroom home just blocks from California State University at Northridge (CSUN). It’s also within walking or biking distance of shopping, dining, bus stations, and many businesses with employment opportunities. A Work in Progress Sober Living for Women is also now a registered 501(c)3 California non-profit organization. We offer our home to women in recovery at a greatly reduced rate compared to other Los Angeles sober living homes. Our program fosters growth and recovery to our female residents by providing sober, safe, and upscale housing, in conjunction with opportunities to participate in 12-step and other recovery and support programs. What is A Work In Progress?

A Work in Progress is a supportive community for women who are recovering from mental health diagnoses, emotional traumas, human trafficking, domestic violence, and more. Located in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, A Work in Progress utilizes the vast recovery resources available in the Greater Los Angeles area.

A Work in Progress is all about helping women find true, lasting recovery and building quality relationships with others. Our goal is to help our guests return to mainstream society as vital women, ready to take on the world and rebuild their lives, one day at a time.

In our structured living environment, we focus on a shared family-style household where everyone takes part in the daily routines. We work together to learn healthy lifestyle and coping mechanisms. We are fully aware of the battles each one of us has to endure to rebuild our lives and we do not expect our guests to fight them on their own.

We owe our success to our supportive and friendly environment. Our program fosters growth and recovery for our female residents by providing sober, safe, and comfortable housing, in conjunction with opportunities to participate in recovery and support programs. Support groups and resources are conveniently close to our home and available on a daily basis.
