The Fairbury Jr Women’s Club recently organized a spring food drive throughout the Prairie Central School District. The Chatsworth Food Pantry received 198 pounds of non-perishable items from Prairie Central Primary East!

Thank you to the Fairbury Jr Women’s Club for organizing this effort and thank you to all those who donated to the food drive!

🍀🍀The Prairie Pacers 4-H Club is conducting a paper products drive to benefit the Chatsworth Food Pantry. 🍀🍀
This effort will also serve as the Civic Engagement group project for the kids to present at the Ford County Fair in June 2026!📝
If you feel inclined to donate, please drop off items at one of the locations listed on the flyer.

Thanks to generous donations from two local businesses, the Chatsworth Food Pantry was able to provide 50 household cleaning kits to recipients during the March distribution. The buckets were provided by Nussbaum Ace Hardware in Fairbury, while Dollar General in Chatsworth provided the cleaning supplies.

At this time the Chatsworth food pantry will no longer accept plastic bags as we have plenty. We will continue to accept Dave's brown bags. Thank you for your contribution

Hi this is Cindy . Could you please get the word out tha the food pantry is in desperate need Walmart plastic bags for the food pantry. We use these bags to put the frozen and refrigerated food in them. We usually have to double bags.. With that being said, Last month we serviced 60 household and we used about 200 Walmart bags.

Do you have extra plastic bags around your house? The Chatsworth food pantry is in need of some. You can drop them off at the local banks or the library and I will pick them up.
