The 2026- 27 Honor Council Robing took place today in the Chapel .
Scott Roach , the faculty advisor led the ceremony while President Sloan Gibson ‘71
and Commandant Lt. Col. Sam Redding ‘ 93
presented the new inductees their robes .
The members were sworn in to uphold their duties according to The Honor Code .
The entire corps also swore to uphold the honor code and signed the Honor Code .
A great job done by Maj. Steve Weunchese, Hargrave’s leadership director, in his speech to the corps about Honor .
The ceremony was smooth and everyone involved did a wonderful job .
Congratulations to all the new members .

May God Bless all of the 9-11 victims and their families , all of the servicemen and women and their families who put their lives first in order to keep our great nation free .
Please let us remember all of our Alumni who are veterans of foreign war ,all of our government workers and please let us never forget our first responders who are out there every single day keeping us safe .
Let us never forget 9-11-01 but let us always go forward as a stronger nation .

Members of The Hargrave Alumni Board gathered with some of the seniors and PG’s to break bread and share some stories and laughs . To kick the dinner off the flag was raised at Camp Spradlin as the afternoon sun shone down on us all . Thank you to all the Alumni and cadets who joined in .
God Bless the HMA kitchen Staff for all the hard work they did helping out with this .

What a great day on campus today , with a mixture of the past and the future .
President Sloan Gibson ‘71 fired up the Cadet corps with his Convocation speech .
The Emeritus awards were presented today as well . This program was started three years ago and their plaques are hung on the wall on the Main Hall .
There was a lot of laughter and story telling during a very nice reception at The Baker House following the Awards Ceremony .
Dr. Tung also gave his opening remarks during the convocation to start the 2026/27 school year . What a year it will be .
