The other night when it was so brutally cold and windy we stuffed Loki's fat ass into a coat. This was the result. 😂

* Loki will NOT let you shut him in. We closed Snow and Harriet in on the other side but had to leave his side's door open.

First snowfall of the year and Pebbles was enjoying watching it come down from her straw filled hutch!
Don't worry, she can go back inside the barn whenever she feels like it- the door is open!

A year ago today I lost my heart and soul. I knew it was time for Hoss to leave me and it was the hardest decision of my life but he was telling me it was time. I'll miss him forever.

Lillian had a full mastectomy last Monday at our local vets office ( I love them).
She did very well! This is a picture her vet sent us as she was still coming out of anesthesia. She had her drain pulled yesterday and her stitches come out next Monday .
Since coming down with the mastitis - which after a culture was presumed to be a staph infection- she has also had a hard time getting up. Since the two things coincided- I hoped they were linked Since coming home after surgery she has been more successful at trying to stand and move. Please say a little prayer once the soreness is gone and stitches are out, sweet Lillian will resume standing and walking on her three legs!
We are $800 short to cover her procedure. If you would like to contribute - I would greatly appreciate it !
Lily is a dear sweet soul and everyone who has met her thinks so!

Harriet certainly isn't starving 😂😂


Adding it has taken me waaaaay too long to realize those aren't tear stains that magically appear in the Fall. They are face markings that ( oddly) are only around 6 months out of the year! So weird .
