Chatham Rotary Club - Virginia Meetings: 1 & 3 TUES 12:15 at Hunt & Co. BBQ, Reid Street, Chatham, VA. 2 & 4 Tues 5:30pm Train Depot The Chatham Rotary Club was organized in March 1939.

Around one hundred persons attended Charter Night, which was held at Chatham Hall. The Danville Club, represented by Curtis Bishop and Bascorn Jordan, sponsored our Club. Ed Brush, business manager at Chatham Hall, was elected the first president by thirteen men who signed the charter.

CHATHAM, Va. (July 21, 2026) — The Rotary Club of Chatham hosted its 3rd Tuesday Lunch Meeting at Hunt & Co. Restaurant, focusing on member education, project planning, and local partnerships. Projects Director Dr. Mark Jones reviewed the club's annual projects plan. Membership Chair Kathy Ramsey presented the club's membership recruitment and retention campaign designed to strengthen and grow the organization. Featured guest speakers Dr. Rebecca Hodnett and Scharlotte Cassell gave an overview of the Chatham High School Veteran Program, highlighting its efforts to honor veterans and educate students about their service.
The Rotary Club of Chatham continues to advance Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self" by investing in projects, partnerships, and people that strengthen the Chatham community.

What a performance by Team Rotary on Saturday morning, July 18! Under clear, warm skies and with an 8:00 AM start, our Rotary volunteers took the field with one mission—to bring down the Honor Field—and they delivered in championship fashion. It was a tremendous team effort from start to finish!

On July 7, 2026, The Rotary Club of Chatham welcomed three Chatham High School INTERACT students and INTERACT Adult Leader Allison Puckett, who presented an overview of the club's plans and goals for the upcoming school year. The presentation highlighted the continued growth and success of the revitalized INTERACT Club, an effort led by Rotary Club of Chatham Youth Program Director Shonda Anderson in partnership with Puckett. The Chatham High School INTERACT program has experienced renewed enthusiasm and now boasts a membership of 55 students. The Rotary Club of Chatham remains committed to supporting youth leadership and community service through its partnership with the Chatham High School INTERACT Club and looks forward to another successful year of collaboration.

On July 7, 2026, the Rotary Club of Chatham held its First Tuesday Lunch Meeting at Hunt & Co. Restaurant in Chatham, Virginia. The meeting marked the transition of the club's leadership as members gathered for the annual change of officers' ceremony.
Outgoing President Frank Fox swore in incoming President Scott Dooley for the 2026–2027 Rotary year, and then President Scott Dooley administered the oath of office to the club's newly elected officers.
