As we approach Thanksgiving 2020 it is important to reflect on the things we are most thankful for. Family, Friends and Community are at the top of our list. CCIF is thankful for all of the members of our community who have made it's efforts so successful!! The Community has donated $509,625 to date! We have received 300 applications for assistance and have funded $351,430 in aid. Assistance has touched 453 adults, 404 children and 81 seniors in Chatham. We are so proud of our Community and it's response! Our very best wishes for a Happy Thankgiving!

CCIF FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS PLEASE READ BELOW:

Noting an absence of data to help inform decisions the Chatham Coronavirus Impact Fund has developed the CCIF Community Assessment Survey. This completely anonymous survey takes less than 4 minutes to complete and will, we hope provide insight into how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected our community. Our plan is to conduct this survey every month or so in an effort to develop trend data that may be useful to the Impact Fund and to our community.

CCIF fundraising has surpassed $500,000!!! Thank you to all of our supporters! Neighbors helping neighbors! CCIF has awarded $163,509.81 and aided over 501 adults, children, and seniors in Chatham since April 15,2020.

CCIF saw a surge in applications this past week indicating the extreme need that exists in our community!! 33 Applications were approved and $42,388 was funded. Please share this news with family and friends. Awards for family applicants have been increased to $1,500 and for single applicants to $600. We anticipate need increasing as the fall approaches and families loose their unemployment benefits. We thank all of those who have donated to the fund thus far and in light of increasing need hope that those who would like to help make a new or additional gift to the fund.

CCIF has been busy this month! We have committed to fund up to $10,000 in both July and August to support the Chatham Elementary School (CES) Food Pantry allowing the program to continue providing assistance to over 400 Chatham residents. We are working with the Wayside Inn who initiated this program and will continue to order goods through its vendors.

We also are pleased to announce that we are now accepting second round applications and have increased our awards to $1,500 for a family and $600 for individuals.

Many thanks to our generous donors who have enabled us to extend help to a greater number of our neighbors!

CCIF is happy to report that an additional 10 applicants were approved and $7,200 funded assisting 41 individuals during our 4th week of operation. We have assisted 271 members of our community over the past 4 weeks. Please reach out to Monomoy Community Services or Lower Cape Outreach if you are in need of assistance. And thank you to all from our Community who have supported this effort! Our Community Aiding Our Community!!

CCIF is pleased to have been able to provide assistance to 15 applicant families the first week of May. Over 50 family members are benefitting from $11,600 of assistance generously provided by those community members who have contributed to the Fund. Our Community Aiding our Community!
