The yellow rose which symbolizes joy and friendship is the flower of Zonta and Z clubs. Zonta's goal is to build a better world for women and children. Happy International Day of Women to all our Columbia County Z Club alumni and current members and to the Zonta Club of Upper Hudson Valley. Thank you to each and every single female in my my life from the littlest wee ones to the wise elders and all those in between. Thank you for sharing your love and light in my life.

On Sunday 10/15/23 Z club Co-Advisors, Sarah Braley, Sue Wallace and members of Z Club participated in a three hour self defense course for women and girls offered by Gould's Martial Arts Center at the Tri-Village Fire Company in Old Chatham.

ZClub rocked it at Chatham Summerfest today! Cotton candy, popcorn and brownies attracted many people who were more than happy to make a donation!

Congratulations to Emma Braley- Columbia County Z Club President and charter member. Emma committed to Univ of Rhode Island College of Engineering. Emma plans to study Civil & Environmental Engineering and Bio tech. URI was recently ranked Top 4th in country for Bio tech. Emma represents a new generation of young women going into STEM careers. Emma said being a part of Z club made her realize the difference one person can make. She has been inspired by women of the Zonta Club of the Hudson Valley & Emma plans to continue her community service at URI through a variety of clubs including Puppy Raisers- an organization that teaches puppies to become service dogs. She also plans to be a part of Habitat for Humanity in RI and clubs that advocate for the environment and people with disabilities. She will also be connected with female engineers in a mentoring program. Thank you for all you have done for Columbia County NY Z Club Emma! We are so proud of you!

Columbia County Z Club at the Morris Memorial Turkey Trot. Our group served hot cocoa, coffee, water and apples to grateful runners and spectators. Starting the day off serving our community before enjoying Thanksgiving with our families!
