Brody Strong Foundation In memory of our 4 year old son, Brody Etelamaki (12/17/09-4/15/14). Brody was diagnosed with GBM (stage 4 Brain Cancer) in April, 2013.

The Brody Strong Foundation is a non profit organization to help fund a cure for Pediatric Brain Cancer. Brody fought a courageous battle for a year with GBM before gaining his wings at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 15th, 2014. Brody was an active, typical 3 year old boy up until the day of his diagnosis. There was never any indication that anything was wrong. Unfortunately, Brody's tumor was very agg

ressive. One of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. The 5 year survival rate in children for high grade gliomas, such as Brody's, is less than 20%. The goal of our foundation is to CHANGE that and find a CURE! Pediatric Brain Cancer is the number one cause of cancer deaths in children under the age of 10. No new drugs have been developed in over 30 years for GBM - this is UNACCEPTABLE and the NIH gives only 4% of their funding towards pediatric cancers - every type of pediatric cancer shares that 4%!!! The Brody Strong Foundation is a non-profit and 100% of your tax deductible donation will go towards funding a cure for pediatric brain cancer.
