Each year since Aaron's passing, the Central-Logan Trap Team, along with the Aaron Hass Memorial Scholarship Fund, has honored his legacy by presenting the Aaron Hass Sportsmanship Award to a deserving individual who embodies Aaron's values of hard work and perseverance. This year's recipient, Drew Hass, was presented the award by his sister, Aubrey Hass. Drew Hass demonstrated remarkable resilience after his father's passing at the beginning of his 8th grade year. Despite this significant setback, he worked tirelessly to become one of the top shooters on the team and in the conference, even reaching the finals at Nationals twice. Yesterday was a truly exceptional day honoring Aaron at the 5th Annual 50 Bird Shoot, and the weather was perfect! None of this would be possible without our valued Sponsors and all the attendees, to whom we extend our sincerest gratitude. And to the 40+ volunteers who contributed to the event's success, we offer our heartfelt thanks. We miss Aaron every day, but the shared memories serve as a poignant reminder.

Good morning- It's a beautiful day! The 5th annual Aaron Hass Memorial Scholarship Fund 50 Bird Shoot kicks off at 8:30 am. Come down to the Chaseburg Rod and Gun Club- we have raffles, Pogy's Catering pulled pork meals, bounce house and corn pile for kids, bucket raffle, and so much more!

⭐Tomorrow’s the day!
The 5th Annual Aaron Hass Memorial 50‑Bird Shoot kicks off in the morning, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a day of connection, community, and honoring Aaron’s legacy.

Aaron was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and being outside. He made sure to pass that love on to his children, creating memories they will carry forever. He coached local high school trap teams and mentored countless kids over the years, always patient, always encouraging. He was also a proud and active life member of the Chaseburg Rod and Gun Club.

This year’s event is especially meaningful, as it takes place on what would have been his 47th birthday. As we gather for this event, our hope is that you will share your stories and memories of Aaron — the moments that capture his sense of humor, his kind heart, and that contagious laugh everyone remembers so well. People simply loved being around him.

Aaron was truly a wonderful friend, son, father, husband, and brother, and his presence is missed every day. ❤️

It is going to be a beautiful day, so please come and honor Aaron and support the Scholarship Fund-

*Live auction starts @ 2:00 pm
*Bucket Raffle drawing @ 3:00 pm (30 tickets/$20)
*SO MANY raffles throughout the day
*50/50 raffle 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
*$8/per meal; Pogy's Catering~ pulled pork sandwich, beans, pasta salad, chips, and dessert

*$20 per 50 Bird (must register in person by 2:00 pm; no sign ups before 9:00 am)

Last night some members from our scholarship fund had the honor of volunteering at the Wild Fest / Chad “Wild” Myhre Memorial, helping out behind the bar and supporting an event that means SO MUCH to this community.

We are grateful for the chance to be part of a weekend filled with energy, generosity, and the spirit of giving.
